My name is Ferenc Horváth, I am an animation designer. My story started about 8 years ago while working in a cosy coffee shop in London. Around this time I did some graphic designs for a friend getting ready to launch his start-up, but I wanted to learn how to convert my designs into a functioning site or application. My friend really appreciated me helping out with his start-up and I enjoyed being taken under the wings of a senior developer who guided my professional progress. About a year later he offered me an opportunity. Design and coding. I have had a feeling before that this was my path. We parted our ways after 3 years, when I moved to Malta to further my career at an iGaming company (2017). I worked in the Studio team, the most visually creative one in the Marketing department. Here I had the chance to get more and more into animation design. I really enjoyed not only animation by code and motion design, but interaction design as well, because I saw that it might become an efficient marketing tool in the constantly increasing digital noise. At the end of 2018 I faced an amazing opportunity again: full remote work, contractor job, blockchain-based Fintech business. UI design and front-end development. Of course I took it. By 2020 the main direction became clear. It started to outline that I should offer animation design - what I always loved - as a separate service. I began preparing animated Instagram posts. Attention-grabbing, no bullshit, short posts that can be perfect to promote products and services, or even for paid ads. Why can these have better reach than the average post? When you are scrolling through your feed, animated posts (just as videos) start automatically, are short enough (4-10 sec) for users to watch them, and you can pass plenty of information even without reading the post. Basically, you can stand out.
