Toronto Centre for Liver Disease (TCLD) is one of the largest liver units in North America with a team of world-class health care professionals and expertise in both basic science and clinical research. TCLD encompasses areas of education, training, and a world renowned liver transplantation in a single healthcare facility. Our mission is to learn more about viral hepatitis and other liver diseases on basic scientific levels and from clinical studies, so that we can help deliver safe and effective care and management using the latest research for diagnosis and treatment for people with all types of liver disease. We also help people learn about the liver and how to take care of their liver condition.
