Panhellenic Association (Ohio State)
www.ohiostatepha.comWelcome to the Panhellenic Association at The Ohio State University! This page is intended for current and past members of our community. The Panhellenic Association (PHA) is one of four councils under Sorority and Fraternity Life. We work closely with the Interfraternity Council (IFC), Multicultural Greek Council (MCGC), and the National-Panhellenic Council (NPHC), as well as the Greek Programming Board, in order to actively improve Sorority and Fraternity Life at our university. The Panhellenic Association is steadfastly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We recognize that Sorority and Fraternity Life is rooted in exclusionary racist, cisheterosexist, anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, ableist, and classist practices. As a community, we actively condemn discrimination in all forms. We recognize that many people have been actively and passively excluded from our community in the past, and we want these people to feel welcome joining the Panhellenic Association in the future. We openly accept women and non-binary people who identify with womanhood regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, gender expression, ability, body type, and socioeconomic status. We have over 2,700 members who belong to 16 Panhellenic chapters and two affiliate chapters. All of our chapters are unique, but they share a dedication to foster a Panhellenic community that values academic excellence, leadership, career development, service, and philanthropy. In addition to each chapter’s individual philanthropic focus, everyone in our community supports the Panhellenic Association’s philanthropic partner: the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation. The foundation helps remove financial barriers for girls who face oppression and poverty in order to give them an equal opportunity to access education.
