Chasen Cohan's practice focuses on counseling life insurance companies, broker-dealers, and investment advisers on a broad range of insurance, securities, and business issues. Mr. Cohan's experience includes advising clients with respect to the creation of novel variable life insurance and annuity products, stable-value products, and financial solutions for pension funds. Mr. Cohan also advises clients on the laws and regulations regarding the sale, distribution, issuance, administration and operation of, and benefit payment practices related to, these products. In addition, Mr. Cohan has 8 years of experience defending Fortune 500 Companies and Las Vegas Strip Hotels in general liability litigation matters. In order to better serve his clients, Mr. Cohan possesses FINRA Series 7 (Registered Representative) and Series 63 (Uniform State Representative) licenses, state insurance licenses, and State Securities Registrations in Nevada, Missouri, and North Carolina. Mr. Cohan is admitted to practice law before the Nevada Bar, all Nevada State and Federal Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Cohan is a Las Vegas native who graduated with honors from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Cohan attended the University of Texas School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. During law school, Mr. Cohan served as a Clerk for the Texas Office of the Attorney General and a Judicial Extern for United States District Court Judge James R. Nowlin. Mr. Cohan gives back to his community by serving on the Board of Directors of the nonprofit Olamau Foundation.
