On March 9th 2007 the European Commission set as a compulsory political target that renewable energy reach 20% of total energy production within 2020. This ambitious target requires a strong increase in the use of energy resources like sun, wind and biomasses, together with a new approach as to investing in environmentally friendly technologies. In conformity with the EC regulation most of the Member States have implemented measures aimed at increasing both investments and the deployment of new energy production system in the field of renewable sources. The same day when the new “Green Revolution” broke out in Europe, Green Utility was set up.
