The 110th Attack Wing is a preeminent multi-domain ANG Wing providing MQ-9, Cyber Defense, Agile Combat Support, Command & Control, and Plans for Combatant Commanders and Civil Authorities. The 110th Attack Wing, located at Battle Creek Air National Guard Base in Battle Creek, Michigan, provides creative solutions to international and domestic challenges by applying Remotely Piloted Aircraft, Operational Plans, Command and Control, and Cyber capabilities for the 21st Century. The 110th Attack Wing is comprised of the 110th Operations Group, providing exemplary Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) to various Federal and State entities anywhere in the world with the MQ-9 “Reaper” Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA), and the 217th Air Operation Group, which provides combat ready personnel to support the command and control of U.S. Air Forces in Europe/U.S. Air Forces Africa forces as well as aiding any emergency response with the State of Michigan. The 110th Attack Wing has seen 70 years, 11 commanders, 7 types of aircraft, and 6 major reorganizations. The 110th Attack Wing traces its lineage through on of its component units: the 172nd Attack Squadron, which earned federal recognition on September 16, 1947.
