Our engineering group consists of electrical, mechanical, and metallurgical engineers. Design specialties include avionics, electronic control systems, electromagnetic protection, mechanical suspension and chassis design, light-weighting, noise and vibration design, and printed circuit card development. Prototype development from machining to forming comes from the manufacturing group within the consortium. 5-axis CnC, lathe, mill, and other fabrication operations are the specialty of our low-volume-high-mix manufacturing group. We also have forming and molding capability for resin based composites as well as other carbon composite materials. There is also a high performance/high reliability Printed Circuit Board manufacturer in the group. GreenForces test and measurement group specializes in wireless telemetric data acquisition for harsh environments including high temperature and high pressure. We also do full vehicle characterization testing, performance testing, and noise and vibration testing. Partnered with Michigan Technological University, GreenForces supplements its engineering and design capability and works with researchers to supply high-end R&D in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Material development.
