Founded in 2011, the Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania is the only organization in Erie County dedicated to the art and industry of film and filmmaking. We are the Greater Erie Film Office, promoting Erie as a low-cost, resource rich city to film, and assisting visiting productions when they are here. We host a Film Grain: Dinner & Movie series at the Bourbon Barrel, the Film Grain podcast, virtual filmmaker panels and Q&As, and partner with local organizations for special film exhibition programs.
