Common and Kind exists to bring people together through the unifying force of music. We inspire positive societal change through collaborative music making and cross cultural music sharing with hugely popular workshop events and annual performances. Through our music singles, live concerts, and regular workshops (welcoming all singers and musicians around the globe no matter their age, background or circumstance), Common and Kind raises awareness and much needed funds to support those in most need; those in our shared world who lack safe refuge and a community to call home. All our volunteer choir leaders, event organisers, and workshop tutors provide our many, many contributors around the globe with inspiring and uplifting musical experiences such as interactive workshop days, huge annual concerts, plus exciting opportunities to perform on our annual charity singles. We aim to inspire a generation to think beyond old prejudices to experience the power of collaboration and sharing, giving all an equal opportunity to make a difference and get their voices heard through uplifting musical performances that have positive impact and purpose. From funding the hire of concert venues and workshop spaces to providing refreshment supplies on concert days, we try to create the very best musical experiences for all of our participants, volunteers and audiences, and we will never stop looking for ways to bring people together through music.
