Tanamera Coffee™ was founded November 2013 by Dini Aryani, a passionate Indonesian committed to positively improving the awareness of Indonesian Specialty Grade Coffee, for the benefit of the many many Indonesian farmers & support workers/businesses. Her pursuit of this personal goal inspired Dini to create a local Indonesian coffee brand to showcase the depth and variety of premium and specialty grade coffee available across the Indonesian Archipelago. To achieve this, Tanamera Coffee™ sources the best Indonesian beans, bought the best equipment and employ the best people to help in the pursuit for Indonesia to be recognised for growing and serving some of the finest coffees in the world. Testament to this is the award of Champion International Roaster in 2015 & 2016 and a total of 38 International awards from AICA (Australian International Coffee Awards, Melbourne (RASV)) & 4 from France (AVPA). The philosophy of our green bean sourcing is to work directly with Indonesian Farmers and Cooperatives to support their development and constant improvement of quality & yield. Our Director of green bean sourcing spends the majority of his time travelling across the growing regions of Indonesia. We believe this has been successful in helping the many many small farmers to understand why quality, consistency and continuous improvement year on year is so important. We help to improve their farming practices, growing methods, maintenance and processing to meet international standards. Being a small business the cost is significant for what is mainly CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), the feedback to-date has been fantastic! We currently have a total of 9 Cafes open in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Makassar and Bali and roast for over 200 wholesale customers.
