The Global Genomic Medicine Consortium (G2MC) is an organization that is creating a community of global leaders dedicated to advancing genomic medicine implementation in clinical care. Part of GGMC G2MC is identifying opportunities to foster global collaboration to demonstrate value and the effective use of genomics in medicine. The G2MC was started as an ‘action collaborative’ in the United States National Academies of Medicine and also was supported by the National Human Genome Research Institute of the NIH. Now as an independent not-for-profit charitable organization, it seeks to improve global health by catalyzing the implementation of genomic tools and knowledge into health care delivery globally.
