Arkansas Research Center (ARC) was founded in 2009 by two grants from the U.S. Dept. of Education to the Arkansas Dept. of Education. U.S. Dept. of Labor grants for workforce longitudinal data systems were awarded in 2012 and 2015 to the Arkansas Dept. of Workforce Services to continue and expand the longitudinal data system. ARC is part of the University of Central Arkansas in the College of Education.
