The City of Anderson is located at the northern end of the Great Central Valley along the winding Sacramento River, approximately 130 miles north of Sacramento and 10 miles south of Redding. The population was 10,630 on July 1, 2019 according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The City grew by 6.6% from the year 2010 to 2019.
