Murillo + Sanabria (M+S) is an architectural practice based in San Jose, Costa Rica. Over two decades, M+S has attracted critical acclaim and awards due to its user oriented design and sustainable approach. The practice is experienced in designing a wide range of building types including: office, residential, retail and industrial and the quality of these designs has been recognised with local and international publications. Our aim is to maintain a line of staff that are involved in the professional and academic fields, from our partners to our collaborators. We believe in the importance of collaborating in the growth of our profession through frequent involvement with universities, professional boards, cultural institutions and local governments. Our co founder Juan Carlos Sanabria received in 2007 the "Jose María Barrantes National Architecture Prize", the highest recognition given by the Costa Rican Board of Architects.
