Övedskloster is an 18th century entailed estate in Sjöbo Municipality, Scania, in southern Sweden. It was originally founded as a monastery by French monks in the 12 th century. It was bought and rebuilt by Hans Ramel in the late 18th century. Today, more than 900 years after the first monks arrived, we still produce sugar, grains, timber and first class meat on the fields and in the forests surrounding the beautiful castle.
