Grow For It is a non-profit organisation that offers individuals and organisations an opportunity to balance their CO2 emissions by planting trees. Trees absorb CO2 from the atmosphere as they grow, which makes afforestation a simple and effective way to counteract the increased amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Even better is that the accumulation of CO2 is quantifiable, which makes it possible to take responsibility for "one's own", or "one's family's" CO2 emissions. Planting trees is not a definitive solution, but a model that can buy humanity more time - time needed to convert all fossil fuels to renewable energy before the consequences of our CO2 emissions lead to irreversible damage on our environment. Grow For it's main activity is to plan and organise the planting of trees in Denmark, Uganda, Nepal and Madagascar. Money collected goes uncut for afforestation projects. Our organisation is politically independent and its activities are based on volunteer work from enthusiastic nature-lovers from all backgrounds. Let's plant some trees!
