S T O R I K is an interdisciplinary design studio and atelier with work in architecture and automotive engineering. Our shared endeavour to harbour a centre for creative thinking and activity by bringing together skills from different professional disciplines is underpinned by a deeply rooted passion for design and craftsmanship. As designers and artisans we have a natural curiosity for materials, composition and process. Our working method involves finding balance in form, function and rationality through research, experimentation and innovation by merging traditional workshop techniques with modern technology. Our work crosses the boundaries of the many areas of design and we have an enthusiasm for all things handmade. At the heart of every project, we share a spirit of care, curiosity and creative partnership with a commitment to celebrate the process of designing and making — to create functional work which aims to inspire and delight. Our creative laboratory is the atelier in which our ideas and designs come to life. Our in house machine shop and fabrication area allows quality and timescale control over highly specialised work. We approach each project with careful consideration towards feasibility, design, construction and management, with the aim to realise complex briefs on time and budget.
