Triangle Rowing Club is the premier competitive youth rowing club in Raleigh. Our mission is to promote character, commitment, athleticism, and teamwork in youth through the sport of competitive rowing. Triangle Rowing Club (TRC) was founded in 2008 as a non profit organization dedicated to the belief that the sport of rowing provides unique opportunities to promote personal and community growth through teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness. The club practices at Lake Wheeler Park, located about six miles south of downtown Raleigh. Since it's founding, TRC has grown into the largest youth rowing club in North and South Carolina with over 120 year round athletes. The team is comprised of 7th-12th grade student athletes from over 30 middle and high schools in the Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Garner, Durham and Chapel Hill areas. Many TRC athletes have gone on to row at colleges and universities across the country.
