I am a project/program management leader, and licensed architect with 20 years of experience in architecture and construction. As a designer and creator my whole life, I realized my favorite creative work is not in building design itself, but in problem solving and innovating within the building design and construction process. Acila consulting is Led by myself, Marlo Dowell, with a bench of team member talent that is drawn in as needed, I understand how buildings go together, and what it takes to go from concept to completion. But I also bring a unique perspective to project and team management as an agent of change; driving efficiency, innovation, and profit into the process by applying a lean and agile project management approach. I carry a track record of bringing experientially diverse team members together for out-of-the-box thinking in executing building solutions and projects, while maintaining the artful balance between creativity, execution, and the client’s project priorities.
