HSNLab is a research lab hosted at BME, the largest and most prestigious technical university of Hungary. We perform high quality research in the field of communications and computer networks, ranging from theory to applications. HSNLab has reached an outstanding publication record since its inception in 1992. We give undergraduate and graduate courses, and supervise BSc and MSc students during their project and theses work. HSNLab offers innovation projects to students jointly with Ericsson. HSNLab has brought a large number of computer science engineers into academia. With our strong ties to the industry, we offer competitive scholarship for PhD students throughout their studies. HSNLab is one of the most long-lived academic partners of Ericsson outside of Sweden, a unique innovation initiative between industry and academia in Hungary. The Head of HSN Lab is Rolland Vida.
