Through our patented Eco-Ceptor technology, we have created a means to efficiently intercept and filter wastewater effluent. This energy-efficient system enables us to screen and separate water from the organic solids and FOG (fat, oils and grease) generated primarily by commercial and industrial kitchen grease traps, before it enters the water system. The cleaned water can then be reused or safely returned to the waste stream, while the dewatered organic solids and FOG can be converted into renewable energy. Following extensive research and trials with some of the largest UK and Southern African Water Utilities and Municipalities, The Eco-Ceptor was short listed by Isle Utilities, Technology Approval Group (TAG) at the Global Water Innovation Summit, London 2019, as one of the top technologies for halving the cost of wastewater treatment globally.
