Early Edge California is a nonprofit advocacy group dedicated to promoting quality early learning across California. We collaborate with thought leaders to advocate for high-quality teaching for our youngest children, especially those most in need. Since 2003, we have successfully advocated for groundbreaking early learning policies, from establishing transitional kindergarten to improving early childhood programs. We’re now working to create a California where early childhood educators have the knowledge and skills to provide high quality, and developmentally appropriate care and instruction that result in better outcomes for kids. We do this by advocating for policy and investments that support early childhood educators to receive the ongoing professional learning and fair compensation they need to teach. Together, we can make California the leader in early learning and ensure that our youngest kids are set up for success in school and in life.
