Reutech Radar Systems (RRS) was founded in 1987 and its radar capability has broadened significantly over the past 30 years with the local development and manufacture of a wide range of search and tracking radars for the South African National Defence Force and the security industry. The Movement and Surveying Radar for application in open-pit mines was designed and developed at the Stellenbosch facilities and is currently in use worldwide. With the company’s proven skills in mechanical engineering, new markets were entered recently with the development and supply of solar trackers for the renewable energy market.
