SLU Urban Planning and Development
www.slu.eduWith Saint Louis as their lab, students of Saint Louis University’s Urban Planning and Development program are provided with the essential knowledge, skills, and values central to the planning profession. Our mission is to equip students to build better communities. As such, we offer a comprehensive, interdisciplinary graduate program that operates in conjunction with the University's John Cook School of Business, School of Law, and School of Social Work. Intimate class sizes emphasize skill building, discussion, and debate. Our faculty and students have been involved in almost $2 million in funded research, including projects for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Great Rivers Greenway, East-West Gateway Council of Governments, Missouri Growth Association, and various other regional, state and local entities. Our program maintains a near perfect job placement rate within a year of graduation due in part to our strong community of students, faculty, and alumni.
