OzGREEN knows youth and local communities have the ingenuity to create sustainable futures. Over 25 years we’ve educated & equipped thousands to become leaders of positive social change. OzGREEN is an independent not-for-profit that operates in Australia and globally, working in partnership with local organisations and communities in India, Nepal, Timor Leste and Central America. OzGREEN’s unique approach incorporates sustainability education, participatory leadership and community development, enabling people to innovate sustainability solutions themselves. Our headline initiative Youth Leading the World (YLTW) is achieving scale by training local people. Real-time-live-online facilitator training makes YLTW accessible even to remote communities. OzGREEN has involved over 100,000 people in it's environmental learning and leadership programs and has won numerous awards, including the Eureka Prize, Banksia Awards, UN Media Peace Awards and Best Practice Case Study for the Australian Association for Environmental Education (NSW).
