The company ceased trading in December 2013 once the merger between Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce and Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce was completed. Business Builder was the commercial arm of Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce. It was set up to provide high quality business support to directors/owners and managers of businesses in Leicester and the East Midlands. In addition to providing coaching and mentoring support, the team undertook TNA’s (Training Need Analysis), diagnostics and assessments to identify the strengths and areas for development. Business Builder provided bespoke and generic training and development for all business sectors. The company delivered a range of business support programmes assisting new start and established businesses to grow and develop their people and improve business performance. Working in partnership with De Montfort University (DMU) Business & Law Faculty we provided innovative business support services to help companies in the city and county reach their full potential. Business Builder also project managed several large contracts within Leicester and Leicestershire in relation to business support services and employability skills.
