Stage Directors U.K., is the professional trade organisation for stage directors, and from 21 February 2022 we will officially open our membership to choreographers and movement directors. At the heart of what we do, alongside other unions and trade organisations, is play a key role in negotiating the contracts of stage directors in the UK. Advocating, campaigning for better rights and promoting the interests of directors is what drives us, but we are so much more. We provide mentoring, advice, host social events and support members in various ways. Our members are also presented with opportunities to expand their skills, knowledge and professional network. The industry isn’t static, neither are we.
