End of Life Doula UK (CIC) is the membership body for End of Life Doulas and Doulas in training in the UK. Our courses, training, conversations and services help people think about death and dying, talk about it and plan for it, in a safe and supportive way. We are pioneering the role of an End of Life Doula in providing support to those with a life-limiting diagnosis and their loved ones, before, during and after this important life event. Our overriding wish is to encourage an approach to dying that is humane, respectful, and honouring of an individual’s identity and sense of self. We facilitate an atmosphere of compassion, respect and dignity, whether a person is at home, in a nursing home, hospice or hospital.
