We use cash donations, along with volunteers and donated materials to help keep the cost of building homes lower. But there are many costs before construction begins, such as land purchase, taxes, building permits, environmental studies, engineering services, architect design and blueprints, planning, budgeting, health and safety and more. It's also required that work such as plumbing and electrical is done by skilled tradespeople. Your donations and ongoing support allow us to continue our work to build safe, decent and affordable homes that empower families to build strength, stability and a better life for themselves and their children.
