The Joint Venture Association is the business alliance of domestic and foreign investors in Hungary since 1986. It’s aim is to constantly improve the economic and investment environment, to boost the investor’s competitiveness, to represent the member’s interest, provide information service and to help to establish partner relations. Services The interest representation covers on one hand the opinion formulating regarding plannned law and regulation modification prior to their acceptance, on the other hand to help solving the member companies’ problems. The Association performs these activities relying partly on it’s own knowledge and experience and partly relying on the high level expertise of the member companies’ experts. The information service has the main goal to provide the members the fastest way to obtain information on the issues affecting their operation, about changes in the laws and regulation, about business and investment opportunities, etc. To provide the information service the Association regularly organizes professional seminars, forums, conferences, issues the Quicknews newsletter (in Hungarian and also in English) and constantly helps the members contacting the Association in various ways, by phone or with personal discussions. The way to help establishing partner contacts is the regular Manager Forums, joint visits to companies, consultations, committee and other professional meetings and other forms of meetings.
