• MAKAR Ltd is a timber engineering, building design, manufacture and delivery company, established in 2002. • The company’s underpinning objective is to develop, design and manufacture beautiful, contemporary homes, buildings and places that are high quality, zero carbon impact, cost effective, environmentally benign and fit for purpose. • Over the past 17 years MAKAR has developed a unique Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) design and development process. This is coupled with an innovative, standardised build system which it uses to deliver all its homes, buildings and places. This versatile, offsite build system is comprised of three key components – natural Structural Insulated Panels (nSIPs), fully serviced bathroom and other modules and post and beam frame sets.
