We are a collective of top private tutors based in central London. We teach undergraduate and postgraduate university, GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate students. Our tutors are university researchers and graduate students. They have years of experience teaching their subjects. We offer tuition both in person and online. The idea of starting a new tutoring collective first came to us in the idyllic Golden Square in the London neighbourhood of Soho, and that’s where our name comes from. We define ourselves as a tutoring collective and not as a tutoring agency, and that’s because we want to put forward a more egalitarian approach to tutoring. This is why, unlike the large majority of tutoring agencies in London, we only charge an initial matching fee that helps us cover the cost of matching the student with their tutor, instead of charging a percentage on every hour. This means that what our customers pay goes straight into the tutor’s pockets.
