DECA is a non-profit professional student organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in over 3,800 high school and collegiate chapters across the globe. DECA members are smart, dedicated individuals already actively involved in preparing for successful careers in their industry of choice. In other words, DECA provides opportunities for students to take what they are learning in the classroom and apply it to real world experiences such as chapter projects, career-based competitive events, civic engagement, and leadership roles. Our chapter is part of the collegiate division located at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
