Established in 1995, PFK is one of the oldest polish venture capital funds, focused on investing in companies at the early stages of development. We manage the fund created within the Polish-British Enterprise Project. We invest in private companies from all sectors with the potential for substantial growth, either organic or made through acquisitions. Our main focus are start-up stage investments. We can invest up to 1.5 million PLN in one company (share capital, debt or combination of both). We can also invest in syndication with other venture capital funds. Our investments usually comprise a minority interest. The typical investment horizon is from three to five years. Every step of the investment process is executed by an experienced team of financial experts who also deliver managerial expertise. We add value by supporting our portfolio companies with their strategy development and assisting in major financial transactions. We do not delegate our representatives to the management board but control the operations of portfolio companies from the supervisory board level. Our current investment portfolio includes: Stekop S.A. (security services), Laboratoria RH+ Sp. z o.o. (laboratory tests), Bitcraft Sp. z o.o. (software house) or Lumiere Sp. z o.o. (local cinema). Over the last 20 years we have completed many successful exits, for example: Diagnosis - medical equipment manufacturer, 4Faktor - factoring services, Merinosoft – IT services. Our office is based in Bialystok, eastern Poland, but we are interested in investment opportunities located throughout the whole country.
