At Kiboko Ki our mission is to enhance the quality of life and well-being of animals, no matter the species, by providing relaxation, stress relief & healing energy through the practice of Reiki. Reiki is a non-evasive Japanese holistic, light touch and meditation energy modality that allows energy (Ki) to flow naturally. This energy helps enhance and accelerate the body’s innate healing ability. During a Reiki session animals often experience a deep state of peace as the Reiki clears imbalances. Reiki is for animals of all species with physical, emotional and mental imbalances. A Reiki session can help animals in many ways including; alleviating anxiety, stress or nervousness; helping the body to heal after surgery, injury or trauma; reliving aches, pains, strains and allergies; helping through depression or bereavement; and preparing a geriatric or sick animal for a peaceful transition. Reiki also benefits the animal's companion by helping to relive their own stress and anxiety knowing they are sending healing energy to their animal. Companions will notice a stronger bond with their animals. Reiki is not a substitute for professional veterinary treatment and is recommended to be included in an integrated approach with other healing therapies, including veterinary medicine.
