Health for Humanity seeks to bring together like minded people who wish to use their health care training toward service and social action in their communities and in their world. Health for Humanity plays a role in the process of development worldwide that is accelerating the cohesiveness of the global community. We are charting new territory and cannot blindly copy methods of other developing organizations though we can surely learn from them. HH is an institution instrument whose challenge is how to best translate peace-promoting moral/ethical and science-based development principles into concrete programs that will improve health. Health for Humanity's foundation is inspired by the vision of the organic oneness of mankind presented in the Baha'i Faith. As nations and peoples develop new relationships of interdependence, those institutions with global consciousness-who also value the unique contributions of each individual-can make possible a peaceful passage through a tumultuous time. Since HH seeks to be at the forefront of this unifying process, it has embraced unique principles and mission statement to guide the organization and the projects it undertakes.
