Our mission is to provide life-changing workshops and resources to African immigrants and refugees in the diaspora, to enable them to build life long skills needed to enhance their potential to live the American dream. Our efforts are focused on providing mental health, educational & entrepreneurial resources, workshops and /opportunities to African students and emerging professionals in the diaspora to become catalysts for change. GK Folks Foundation believes that having these life long skills, mental health, quality education, entrepreneurship skills, and Capital is the key to solving Africa’s emerging socio-economic development issues. Our goal is to help African students and professionals gain a fine education with the necessary skills and hands-on experience needed to one day return to their respective countries and succeed in creating a change. Our Vision We envision a world wherein Africans, Immigrants and Refugees in the diaspora are empowered to accomplish their American Dreams and give back to their respective countries.
