WHO WE ARE Pratigya is an independent youth initiative to ensure Right to Choose School with Right to Education for each and every child and mobilize youth to action. It was started in June, 2007 by a group of committed youth who strongly believe that change is possible and it is only possible through Education. This group has been inspired by the appeal made by the former President of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam to come forward and take the pledge to spread the light of education to every child in country. WHAT OUR MISSION IS We will Ensure access to school Education, Enable children to remain and perform at school, Equipping Child with an all round support for physical and Mental wellbeing and Empowering youth to contribute towards change. WHAT OUR VISION IS Every child and young person will have an equity of opportunities to open their mind towards the light of learning. WHAT WE DO We inculcate an overall development of a disadvantaged child including his/her academic as well as non academic development. We do not just aim to help a child in getting a good education but we also aim to prepare him/her as a responsible citizen of this country.
