Our wardrobes should match our values! Asset Designs seeks to offer a sustainable solution to the fast-fashion industry. The fashion industry is the world's second largest polluter, after the oil industry. Communities that value local food and conscious living should be able to access affordable fashion basics that are kind to our environment and to factory workers. We silkscreen print each garment by hand in our studio in Montréal's Mile End neighborhood. Most of our blank products come from Canadian factories, where workers are offered all of the benefits and protection of Canadian workplace regulations. The remainder of our products are imported from fair wage, fair labour factories that meet our standards for ethical production. Our 2018 goal is to provide 100% North American made products to our customers. We vow that each new product iteration will have traveled less miles and used up less resources than the last. The Asset Designs label signifies quality and ethical production. Not to mention our unique designs featuring poetry and graphics that are made to start a conversation.
