In 2009, Stacy Derby founded Bind These Words, LLC to facilitate intergenerational communication of family values and family history. Stacy and her team have earned a highly regarded reputation for their fine art family biographies. The firm’s luxurious, privately published books grace the libraries and coffee tables of prominent families around the world. In addition to biographies, Stacy consults with families of generational wealth and their advisors on strategic protection of non-financial assets and legacy preservation. Stacy teaches clients to use family narrative to preserve wealth, engage heirs, and navigate successful wealth transfer. Currently, Stacy co-chairs the Midwest Regional Advisory Council of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, supporting international human rights and tolerance. She has served on the boards of Hadassah in the City, Illini Hillel, and KAHAL, and served as an officer of the Association of Personal Historians. Stacy holds an M.Sc.
