FRIHOI is dealing with organization and informatization of health system. The institute accomplishes urgent problems of organization of health care and public health, development of health care system and formation of unified information system in health solving following scientific and practical tasks. • Development and implementation of complex system for population health monitoring, projection of medical demographic characteristics of population health and determination of necessary measures for optimization of living conditions of Russian population: • Development of economic basics for organization and informatization of health care and medical science, system of control and management of health care quality and effectiveness of medical programs and actions, establishment of legal, organizational, informational and economic relations with other departments; • Development of information systems and integrated solutions for current and long term tasks of health care management on different levels on the base of modern computer technology; • Training of health care managers and other specialists during educational courses including one’s with international participation; • Introduction of scientific results and modern information technology into health care practice via preparation of methodological and ordering documents, conducting of conferences, seminars, meetings and educational courses for top health care managers and other specialists; • Cooperation with Russian and foreign medical institutions, scientific centers and firms on conducting of collaborative researches, projects development and experience exchange in the field of health care organization and informatization.
