A non-profit theater troupe based in Beijing, China creating original theatrical productions and addressing cross-cultural dichotomies through laughter, drama and dance since 2007. Called a "cultural bridge between China and the West" by the South China Morning Post, Cheeky Monkey also produces monthly Mandarin (and Chinglish!) Improv shows at D-22 in Wudaokou, as well as workshops and corporate events all over Beijing and Tianjin.
