As the son of a third generation contractor along the Forgotten Coast I spent countless hours as a child watching my dad and granddad’s customer’s blueprints come to life. I knew from a very young age that I would not follow in my dad’s footsteps - the summertime heat in Florida is not where I find myself at home! A few summers on the job during high school and college cemented that knowledge. I had no idea at the time that the knowledge gained during those HOT summers would prove so useful now! I spent several years studying Criminal Justice at Florida A&M in Tallahassee and returned home to work in the social services field for a few years. In 2015 I changed course and began working towards my Florida insurance agent’s license, which I have since secured. Working as a personal lines insurance agent every day I see numerous house plans and inspections, and I get to watch new builds and remodels as they occur. Watching these builds and remodels play out ignited the family passion that I assume to be very similar to that of my brother, father, grandfather, and his father before him. With the rapid growth of new construction in North Florida a need has developed for a fast, focused, and competent draftsman in our area. Watching my plans come to life was exactly the excitement I was looking for!
