Since 1963, the Industrial Relations Society of Victoria (IRSV) has been fostering discussion, research and education in the fields of industrial and employment relations and related areas of interest. Our membership is drawn from the five key sections of the field of industrial relations: trade unions, employers, government, academic institutions and the legal profession. The Executive Committee, which is elected annually, comprises representatives from each of the five quintants that make up its membership base. The Society is a constituent society of the Australian Labour and Employment Relations Association (ALERA) with kindred societies in States and Territories across Australia. ALERA is, in turn, a constituent member of the International Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA).
