Seeing a need to assist providers with managed care contracting review and analysis as well as revenue opportunities, John Collier founded Innovative Managed Care Solutions, LLC (“IMCS”) in the fall of 2007. IMCS specializes in managed care contracting, review, analysis, negotiation and related activities. As founder, John himself has been assisting hospitals and physician groups with the development of managed care and revenue strategy and reviewing and negotiating managed care agreements for over 23 years. John is a former audit manager with Coopers and Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers or PwC). IMCS has grown over the years and serves clients throughout the country adding staff members as needed. IMCS works with hospitals from small community based facilities of less than 100 beds to large academic medical centers and children’s hospitals. We represent physician groups in size from sole practitioners to IPA’s/PHO’s and physician networks in excess of 2,000 providers. IMCS’ scope of services range from working on one single managed care agreement, to serving as the managed care component for your organization.
