The company is a subsidiary of the Spanish multinational Maxam with operations on every continent, principally supplying industrial explosives to mining companies. Based in Dublin 18 (just off the N11), the Irish company commenced operations in 2003 and supplies the main raw materials required by Group companies from factories owned by the Group (outside Ireland). The Irish company also sells surplus factory production to third parties. All of the company’s activity takes place outside Ireland but is managed from Dublin.
