Live Like Lily Foundation
www.livelikelilyfoundation.orgThe Live Like Lily Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, providing scholarship programs designed to reward exceptional high-school seniors and undergraduate students pursuing agriculture-based degree programs, who have demonstrated a passion for both the agriculture industry and service to others and their community. We also provide an annual scholarship to a student that is a survivor of Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis, or HLH. In addition to providing scholarships opportunities, our mission is to raise awareness of a rare and severe systemic inflammatory syndrome, Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis, or HLH, resulting from an uncontrolled activation of the immune system. Lily, the Founders' daughter, was diagnosed with EBV-induced HLH and T-cell lymphoma just two months after starting her freshman year at Oklahoma State University. She fought a heroic 61-day battle against the ugly disease before finally earning her eternal home in Heaven on December 8, 2019.
