For almost 30 years, dopa has developed and produced diamond tooling, consumables and machines for the production of precision components of various materials. Based on this broad product range, dopa has built extensive expertise in the production of discerning precision plano optics. This lead to the founding of its own optics production facility about 20 years ago. Here, dopa produces laser optics as well as other high precision parts of all kinds of materials such as optical glass, soft and hard crystals like calcium fluoride and sapphire as well as metals, ceramics and special material. dopa’s tools and technologies are designed to create components that meet highest requirements in clearance, flatness and parallelism. dopa is providing products and services to customers worlwide from the optics, semiconductor, medical technology, luxury watches and automobile industry, as well as aerospace. Likewise, dopa offers contract work to carry out customized processing of precision components provided by the client. Our own machinery engineering department develops and builds single-sided grinding, lapping and polishing machines with corresponding polishing slurry aggregates and cascade filter systems. We also refurbish double-sided machines of various producers. Last but not least, dopa provides customized product and process development. dopa conducts feasibility studies, develops prototypes and subsequently produces small and large batches.
