Since 1987, WVLT has conserved nearly 3000 acres including the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, four working CSAs, 14 additional properties in agriculture, three nature preserves (Mill Brook Preserve, Nyquist-Harcourt Nature Sanctuary and Phillies Bridge Farm) and a variety of important habitats including wetlands and forests. In collaboration with willing landowners, WVLT seeks to preserve the unique rural character of Ulster County.
