Eurizon Capital Asia Limited (ECAL) specialises in Asian equity markets, with cross-country and regional sector analyses, identifying strategies and investment ideas tailored to regional markets. ECAL is the 100%-owned, Hong Kong subsidiary of Eurizon Capital SGR S.p.A., which is the asset management division of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, one of the top banking groups in the Eurozone, whose total AUM was EUR 583 billion as at December 31st 2021 including Penghua Fund Management (Penghua Fund Management is participated by Eurizon Capital SGR which holds 49%). The company was incorporated in June 2015 with the aim of creating a hub to support Eurizon's presence in Asia's markets. It is licensed by the Hong Kong SFC with Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 4 (Advising on securities), and Type 9 (Asset Management). Many of our members are Putonghua speakers, having lived and worked in China, and having a high level of professionalism and many years of experience in the asset management sector in the Asian markets.
